Is it true that all PGMs made after 2005 will not have Maple fretboards? This is just a silly rumour I hear, but I hope to God that it isn't true. :?

I love maple fretboards, and the maple fretboards on PGMs are what makes them PGMs. :? :? :?

only the PGM301 and PGM300 have maple fretboards
PGM301/PGM300 without maple fretboard would look like a PGM30

Order one of these non maple boarded PGMs, through him.

When it turns up with a maple board act disappointed and haggle him down on the price.

Worth a try anyway..

Signature model....If Paul wants maple, he gets maple. I am hoping a new PGM pointy model comes out since he's been playing and taking pics with more of those :)

I think they're way overdue on an exclusive model anyway. Pauls new album and tour is a perfect excuse to build one. A lot of the old stuff he's using has split block inlay. If they make a new one, maybe it will too. It's all just wishful thinking at this point though. --Jason

Because of the licensing, I highly doubt a new limited model would have any of those body shapes. --Jason

If they did come out with a new pointy PGM model I'd definately set aside a paycheck to get one.

After seeing paul playing one of his Rocket Roll V's I definately have looked into picking up a used one. I'd be more likely to get one if it was a PGM model.

*has notion*

I think that an Ibanez V and Destroyer, plain white with black f-holes just like the PGM301 would be fucking awesome.

There, I said it.

:D

Black and white, blue and pink, red and creme I think they could use any of the color combinations they have used for past PGM's and I think it would look good.

I would like to see a pointy PGM Sunburst (as we see in his latest pics) with black f-holes

I did some research and see the difference in the "lawsuit" models and the later Destroyer and Rocket Roll models. The internet is my friend!

The Destroyer body style is so narrow in the middle, I don't think you could pimp it out with F-holes and it look right.

I'm not that big of a fan of the pointy guitars, but here's my suggestion for a pointy limited edition model. The Rocket Roll "V" body, mahogany with flame maple top. Light Tobacco sunburst with either black, or creme F-holes. Three direct mount humbuckers. One volume, 5-way selector layout. Set neck with 3 tuner per side headstock. Ebony fingerboard with split block inlay. --Jason
