Post I' m gassin for a PGM...
I have really bad gas for a PGM, I would love to get my hands on a PGM500, but that may be a little tricky so I may settle for a 301.

Anyone got some nice pics of their 500's/301's?

I've heard lots of very good things from the PGM500.

I'll post pics once we get the PGMsite back up.

The 500 is a workhorse. This and the 800 are awesome playing and great sounding.

The PGM500 is awesome, the tone on it is unbelievable, the TZ and HFH combo is great. The feel is great too, and I never thought I'd find a guitar that felt better to play until...

The PGM301, to me, has an even better feel, just something about it is about as perfect a player as you can get. The only problem is the PAF Pros are a little too nasal for my taste - well in that guitar anyway. I think it has to do with the combination of maple board, basswood body, direct mount pups, and hardtail. I have a couple of older RG550s with maple baords and PAF Pros, but they don't sound the same at all. Although it's been suggested that maybe Dimarzio has changed those pickups over the years, too. Then again, I've heard a lot of guys say they like the PGM301 as it is.

I put the Tone Zone/Air Norton combination in my PGM301WH and it sounded awesome.

I missed the sound of the PAF Pro pickups so I put them back in.

The only thing is they cut the wires so damn short from the factory it leaves you no room for service.

I was thinking about putting something in place of the JEM but never got around to it. Maybe I'll put a TZ-S in there?

I love my PGM100. I have no problem with the tone of the PAF Pros in that one. Doesn't feel as nice as the 500 or 301 IMO, but it's not bad, either. Feels more like an old RG5xx or RG7xx series.

I love the PGM100 color scheme :P But I rather have a hardtail guitar now (all my previous guitas had tremolos). Is there a hardtailed version of pgm100? I know Paul has one (custom made :))...

Nope, Paul's converted one is it, unfortunately. I'd love to see a hard tail PGM100, too.

My grandmother was from Poland. I'm not sure where. I haven't thought about her for a long time. I remember how she used to spoil the hell out of me with her cooking and baking. Her last name was Jezak.

The 100 fells very solid...probably cuz of the square heel. It has a good rock tone overall.

My 500 finally got here. I'll try and take some better pics another day when its light outside. Even if it is hard to find one I think it is worth the effort. Mine plays great.

It looks pretty nice Jason. I'm still trying to decide whether the next one I get is a PGM500 or a PGM301. Man, if the 500 just had a maple fingerboard, or if the 301 was offered in orange!

Not to be nosey, but how many days did it take to ship? I've never bought from MAE and I'm just curious. --Jason

Sweet! I love the 500s! :D

JasonK, FYI, when I ordered from Mae, I think it took 10 days maybe 11, but that was a Christmas time, so take that into account. I thought that was pretty good.
