Post PGM 3
They are selling PGM 3's here in singapore. Not 300's but 3's. They are kinda like a PGM junior I think. Anyone have any experience with these.

It's in the same class as the JEM Jr(333). Made for specific markets.

Check it out:

If your replaced the pickups and tremelo I think these might be nice guitars. They go for about SGD $700 here which is 225 pounds or 420 USD. Thats the same amount I paid for my bashed up PGM500 :D

However your location says Singapore so it's probably not overseas for you. You can probably find them locally drew.

You reckon Ibanez dealers from the UK would bother to get one shipped here? Coz I'm thinking of buying one. I've always liked the pink and blue. :D Looks good for show.

You can probably ask Ishibashi if you were really interested. If they don't offer it, they more than likely will point you in the right direction.

Hey guys. You know I was surprised that no one had taken this screen name already. :) Anyway ...

I recently picked up a PGM3 and except for the slightly unstable trem ( ILT ) it's a beauty. Now I can't say that i've compared these to other PGMs, 'coz this is the only one i've ever seen in person. But it does beat the hell out of some other RG's that I've seen ( "Which models?", you ask? I wish I knew... ) Playability-wise and sound-wise. But I do admit, the trem is a little dicey.. But like I said in my other post, maybe my springs have to develop their 'memory'.
I was also interested in getting this Washburn N2 that's being sold where I live. Any advice?
Cheers - Tony

Thanks Eddie. That's kinda like a universal guitar truth, n'est ce pas? I haven't been here long, but please allow me to complement your work. MINDBLOWING stuff. Wish I could see one in person!
Back to the topic, however, I just wanted to know if there were any general niggling little things that would make this guitar any less desirable.
Nuno is right up there with Paul in my rather extensive list of idols! :D

£225? Fs....I have that in me account right now!

So where can I, in the UK, get hold of one of these budget-beauties? Any music shop websites with English translations? :?

I just got my PGM3 yesterday, korean made, white colour with 2 black F-holes,look exactly like the PGM30,hard to spot the difference.

After adjusting the action and trem,I am quite surprised with its sound and playibility. Yes the ILT bridge is the lowest end trem of Ibanez (better than Lo TRS II ?),ppl were saying how bad is the trem etc ...but after playing with it,I dont see how sucky is this trem. It wont go out of tune like what other ppl say ...so I am quite happy with this axe. By the way,I got a GRG with this kinda trem too,so I got some experience with the ILT trem...with the right setup, the trem works perfectly fine.

This guitar is a beauty I must say ..;). But of course you cant compare it with other higher end PGMs,but come on guys,I bought this axe for only RM1600(~USD430,I live in Malaysia),its definitely a beautiful budget guitar. And I wouldn't call this low end ibanez(a mid-range guitar prehaps? ), I was quite impressed with the built quality of this guitar, korean made product aint that bad after all. I am quite surprised ...

Anyway I just got it yesterday,I am still very excited ... :)

I need one too! Preferbly NOT online, I don't have a credit card yet! Would UK dealers get hold of one!?
