Post PGM301 Pickups
I've been itchin' to replace the pickups in my PGM301WH.

The Dimarzio RAF Pro factory installed pickups sound okay but I want something with more balls (bullocks?).

I'm guessing right of the bat that many of you might suggest Dimarzio Tone Zone and Air Norton. Initially that the way I'm leaning.

Some other choices are:
* Duncan SH-4JB and Jazz.
* EMG 81 and 85.
* Dimarzio Livewire Heavy Metal.
* Gibson Burstbucker Pro.

What do you people think?

Exactly, but ultimately, it's up to you and the sound you are trying to achieve.

If you like the PAF Pro, but just want a little more umph, you could try a Breed. --Jason

The Evos are just overwound PAFs so they will probably just make the sound a bit tighter. If you want to change the sound dramatically then i wound go with a Tone Zone in the bridge and Humbucker from Hell in the neck

Surely. I just put a Tone Zone in a P.O.S. Jackson DKMG and the thing sounds ballsy as hell. A great upgrade.
