Post PGM 100 Questions
Hey. I loved pgmsite.com and was on the forum and can't wait till it's back up. I'm in the market for a PGM 100 and also curious to know what the spec's are on the PGM 100. What kind of pickups? Is it Edge Pro or Floyd Rose trem? How does it compare the other PGM guitars (the 30, 500, 301)? How much do they usually go for and finally, is it worth the price over the other PGMs?

I was originally looking for a PGM 500 (which would have been good seeing as how there are quite a few these days on EBAY) but I got sucked in by the whammy and the beautiful Jewel Blue/Pink colour.

Thanks for the help.

Perhaps I didn't make it clear enough....the PGM forum is NOT returning....only the site. It's too much work and cost to deal with a low volume message board. I created this spot for exclusive PGM talk.

The 100:

Jewel Blue/Pink
PAF Pro/JEM Single/PAF Pro
1 Volume
5 Way Selector
Standard Neck Joint
24 Fret
Sharktooth Inlay
Boung Necak And Headstock (White)
Edge Trem
Cosmo Hardware
Standard Headstock (Not Reversed)

There was one on ebay last week for 899.
Personally, I prefer the fixed bridge of the 500 and 800, but the 100 is still a great sounding guitar.

i'd have to agree, i prefer the fixed bridge models too
i've got a PGM10th and my bandmate has a PGM500 and they're both amazing guitars
would love to get my hands on a 200 though..... if just because it looks so good... *dreams*

Which is a more prefered trem? Edge Pro or Floyd Rose?

Even though the 100 doesn't have as nice of a sound as the 500, it still is a great gutiar correct?

Personal preference really.
I prefer the Edge/LoPro and that's standard on all high end Ibanez models.

The 100 is a fantastic guitar. If you prefer trems, you would probably like it better than the 500.

Alright thats great news! I was just afraid that it would go out of tune when I used the trem and would have to replace it with something new or something like that.

Thanks for the help!
