I brought her over from Japan. Got lucky with a trade deal! I thought you dudes would like the contrast to the 800 as much as I do. More: http://photobucket.com/IbanezPGM500PGM800Enjoy!!!

 Re: NGD PGM500!
Nice. I thought the 500 had a painted neck? Or is that the 400?

 Re: NGD PGM500!
The 400 has a painted bolt on neck, non-reverse headstock, and a strat style trem. The guy I got this from is selling one of those too....
After spending a little time (very little, fortunately. Reverend just launched a new site and 5 new models, and we're crazy busy) with it, I gotta say:
This was a great era for Ibby. I think Ibanez and Fujigen were at the height of thier powers at this time. The guitar smokes thru any amp.

 Re: NGD PGM500!
Is the ash one subsequently brighter sounding than the basswood ones? I've been thinking about a Carvin and I'd really like something with the color scheme of the 800. Unfortunately I've no experience of what an ash body sounds like and I'd rather buy a guitar with some serious TONE, not just good looks. And here's a pic that I GIMP'd a while ago.

 Re: NGD PGM500!
I can't speak for all guitars - but in this case with all else being equal - the Ash guitar IS brighter!
