I've made a review in spanish in the local guitarists board in case you can read It and you care! http://foros.guitarramania.com/viewtopi ... 7&t=250830

There's more pictures there too! I'll do a resume of the review: I love It

Won't fit in a Strat case, it's too long. Mine currently resides in a bass case, until my FRM100C hardshell arrives from Hoshino USA.

The hardshell is the ONLY option in the US, and it has to be ordered separately.

Got my Fireman today; came in 2 months earlier than they thought it would. Got it back to my hotel and discovered the pickups were emitting a huge amount of awful noise; I checked the rig with another guitar I had handy and confirmed it was the Fireman guitar. The neck is also slightly twisted and the factory setup was awful.

Like others I can confirm the tone pot didn't work for either the middle or neck pickups whatsoever.

I can obviously get the electronics fixed under warranty but I dunno about the neck.

Do not know how to feel. :( :( :(

Edit: The QA sticker on it says it was approved by "Sui". Whoever this Sui is should be fired.

A warped neck is a bad neck. Return the guitar and demand a refund.

It's very very slight, and normally I'd agree with you but I mean fuck, if I have them ship me another one god knows how long I'd be waiting.

I'm considering just letting them fix the electronics and the shop where I bought it and taking it anyway.

Either way I'm pretty disappointed; I hadn't seen anyone post here with any problems but the tone pot wiring thing. I'm such a lucky guy =\

So I took it back and let service take a look at it. First they agreed the neck was twisted and the electronics had some kind of noise problem, but then after they couldn't fix it they tried to tell me there was no noise problem with the electronics.

Which of course is utter bullshit. After I noticed that touching the bridge with my finger, or the output jack, or even the strings to some extent cancelled out sum of the noise it became apparent that it was a grounding problem, which I told them but they still couldn't fix it.

So after all this I'm just going to ask them to replace the damn thing and hope I get better luck next time.

Hopefully it's worth all this bullshit and at least another month or two of waiting now. For what it's worth when I was playing it the neck felt really good and it still looked aesthetically amazing.

Apparently, the case is only available here in the US. Rest of the world gets a gigbag. It'd be nice if they offered both options everywhere, but that would make too much sense  .

Good call man. It's better to wait a little longer rather than waste money on a bad instrument.

I haven't heard of or found anything so far that the US gets a case. I emailed several online places to find that they have no case option for the guitar. Could you please give details on where you ordered it?

I ordered my Fireman through Matt's Music in Boston, Mass. They've had the hard case for about a month waiting for the guitar to come in stock. Should be January :(.

When was the Fireman released in the UK, if it has been?

You're right, there's virtually no information out there. It's not even on the Ibanez USA page, but I can tell you the part# is FRM100C, and it's ONLY available in the US, for now, anyway.

Thats why i find getting guitars from Rich at ibanez rules is the only way to go...if it passes his quality control, you know its gonna be awesome and his prices are always good on new stuff. Plus his setups are second to none!!
