Yes, funny. Those belong here in this tread as well. I've had one of those actually! Bought it for 400, completely not original and beat up to the bone. Sold it later to a german guy.

Here is a used PGM 301.

This is on Craig'sList. Link to the ad (which has one pic): http://stlouis.craigslist.org/msg/1942821622.html

"Ibanez PGM301 - $1700 (Quincy, IL)
Reply to: [email protected]
I have an Ibanez PGM301 for sale. It is the PAul Gilbert model. This particular one is discontinued, and they are pretty hard to find. It is a 9.5 out of 10. I say that because only unplayed guitars are a 10 to me. No dings, dents, scratches, chips, or any other cosmetic flaws. I have the case, and all the stuff that came with it."

I am not the seller and do not know them -- caveat emptor.

Just a heads up that soon I'll be selling 18-20 guitars from my 30 guitar collection and there will be some PGM's in there. the original 100 and the 500/800 bastard. I'm keeping the 401, 10th, 90th and Fireman but will entertain $3500 for the 90th since it's one of a kind. :)

It's no longer fun nor necessary to own 30 guitars so I want to get it down to a more manageable 10. I've simply given up being a gear whore.

The "spectacusale" will be on Jemsite in the coming days. Lot of stuff to type up and lots of pics to take.

Noooooo..... think about it before you do it, you will regret it...

Nah, I'm sure 10 is plenty, go for it!

Happy first day of Autumn, everyone!
Since when is the PGM30 super rare? Here's a used one from CL. Pics are at the link.

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/msg/1966072987.html

"Ibanez PGM30JB Paul Gilbert model! Japan made Super RARE!! - $750 (Clairemont)
Date: 2010-09-21

As the title states, this is an exotic Japan made Ibanez PGM30JB only made for Japan. Only a couple of these over here in the US. Its an amazing guitar in stunning "Jewel Blue" (a deep dark blue/purple, almost black) with super bright hot pink f-holes painted on (NOT a cheap decal!). Both humbuckers were upgraded to Dimarzio Tone Zone and Humbucker from Hell just like Paul's own guitars. It plays awesome, sounds even better. Very versatile. Only a couple minor dings on the back, minor wear on the chrome pickup rings and bridge. A really nice Ibanez hard shell case included. Thanks.

The Japanese built PGM30 is quite rare but I wouldn't go so far as super rare.

JB is rare too so maybe MIJ + JB = super rare :D Unless JB is the one that was only MIJ, don't know ;)

Woohoo! Trophy find! A used PGM 200 in great shape.

http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/135156804

I think we need to appoint a buyer's agent in Japan for such things... to work on like invoice + shipping + 10-15% commission... what's 3 D's up to lately? It would be easy money for someone living in Japan. Buy the guitar from the Japanese seller for the pre-approved overseas person and ship it to them from Japan. I wish I lived there... I'd do that.

Here are the others, all used, all from Japan (Yahoo Auctions):

(unknown - a 30?)
http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/135030778

PGM 600 (autographed):
http://page21.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j82681738

PGM 400:
http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d108060988

(Korina) Fireman (yep, used)
http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b110575264

PGM 900:
http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k132492669

PGM 900 (diff. from above):
http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d109256276

PGM 90th HAM:
http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h145794979

I am not the seller of any of these, and do not know them, plus I don't read Japanese -- caveat emptor.

+ The rarest of the rare are: unique / one of a kind, and extinct.
