Drop the flamed body. I didn't like it. But don't listen to me. If you like it, do it.

of course you could...but doesnt that defy the point of why you want one as a collector?

i mean.... i bet youd want it to say ibanez on the headstock

if you want a 200 because you like the colour scheme, get it custom made, because after all youd prefer a flame top

I love custom PGMs!

I built the ash, a 301 HSS, and soon to be finished orange PGM.

The PGM is such a simple design that it begs to be customized.

What I really wish Ibanez had done is add creme rings on the F holes, and binding to the 401. I would like to do something like that I think.

The only real attraction to the 200 is the triple hums to me. I can't say I am a huge fan of the color scheme or the fretboard inlays.

I'm not a collector, per se, tho. Collectors get things and then put them away never to be seen or used. I'm a player. It's just a hunk of wire and wood, albeit, ones like the Fireman are expensive hunks of wire and wood. :)
Every guitar I own gets played,. I just really like the color scheme of the 200 and even Rich hasn't had one for sale in 4 years. It's just an idea, anyways. I may even go for seafoam green instead of the old twilight blue.

Lord knows I got enough H-S-H guitars :) A triple humbucker is the only one that eludes me.

If it was up to me, I'd make an H-S-H with fluorescent glow-in-the-dark paint :P

I like the pink inlays.

They look furious, yet sexy.

+1
HHH is one coil more than HSH.
It's like cranking it up to 11.
One louder!

I would definitely try to get it done with glow in the dark paint like Paul's original idea for it!!! :D

If he thinks he can do it, possibly. Haven't spoken to him about a custom in quite a while so no idea of his workload.
