hi! i finish my proyect, my ibanez gio become a ibanez pgm 800, it was a really hard work, but im very happy!

You know you'll have to post pics of the process.

And seeings how it has a trem you should call it a PGM801

could be just photshopped, as he would need to fill the wholes from the old pu-selector and the pu-rings, and u would see it on the unfinished body.

but if he has just put a veneer over it, it could be real.

I totally agree with you Tim.

If a top was put on it, it could be possible. Trust me cause I made a custom PGM from a RGR321.

I was thinking it might have a veneer as well. I don't think the Gio's normally are made of wood that would have grain like that.

Well, you could emulate Paul's "shipping crate" 800, since the wood in the Gio might be just the same material. And..you have one too many tremolo systems ;)
