Alright last post of the night (well it's 6 am so..) but why the hell didn't anyone tell us you could vote more than once!?

Things surely would have gone differently*. Damn us honest PG fans!! Voting once.. are we stupid or what. :x

It said on the ibanez voting site that you could vote once a day.

I probably voted 6 or 7 times, none of those were for the 300.

About what?

The fans got the chance to vote for a reissue and you complained about the result? Surely not!

If it were just everyone on this board that were confused, shocked, upset, or suffering from utter disbelief, I wouldn't think much about it. We are the most hardcore of the hardcore PGM people, and it's going to be almost impossible to please any of us. BUT, it seems like everywhere else people are having the same reaction to the "winner" of this contest. The only thing I can figure is that the majority of people voting for the 300 were in Japan. I would really like to see the actual numbers of votes for the top three models. What's the reaction on the Ibanez board? --Jason

In reality, there are only ~2000 member of this forum. I would guess there were less than 100 frequently active members. It isn't exactly a huge slice of the voting pie.

I would be pissed off if I were paul and recieving complaints. The most popular won, end of. And if the 300 won because people voted far more than once for it, I have absolutely no sympathy for the people on here who voted more than once for any other model.

I agree, we're not a huge slice of the pie, but those of us on here represent the some of (if not the) most devoted PGM collectors out there. No one watches the market and keeps up with the models more than us. I just think if the 300 is truley the most popular of the series, it shouldn't be such a shock. On average, the most mint 300's have barely brought $1000 over the last three years. All that being said, the votes are in, so there's not much more to do about it. Well, besides complain!

Yup I won't be buying any more of Ibanez's reissues. I bought the RG550RFR and I'm gonna be selling it. I will be buying used.
