+1

This sucks. I was SURE it was going to be the 800 and I was going to place my order IMMEDIATELY. But now....well at least I still have my 401 coming someday.

I really can't believe it.

Well, it looks like we're all going to have to jump on the bandwagon and start dreaming about the rumors coming true. The rumors about them re-issuing all of them eventually/in order of how they placed. I think it's safe to say that we're all pissed off that the 300 won, but that's because we're all such hardcore PG fans. Obviously all of the people who voted for the 300 aren't exactly that. I agree with you guys, it was a huge waste of time. At least for me it was. Not much we can do about it now...

except give everyone at Ibanez a whole bunch of shit! haha I realize it's not their fault per say. (well, they did but the 300 on the list of guitars to be potentially re-issued... )

This is the most retarded thing I read on the internet for the past weeks!

Now what? Every "new" Paul Gilbert fan who got a PGM301 (which has been on stores for the last YEARS)will go and buy a 300?

Ibanez is retarded!!!

That's exactly what I've been trying to say. Ibanez is being stupid.

The only thing Ibanez is stupid for is making the 300 and 301 options in the first place. But the 300 hasn't been a production model for years so I don't really blame them. The only person I can be pissed at is all the persons who voted for them! It pisses me off.

And I agree about them Jems. Almost all Jems are bullshit.. more are made because there's more demand. I think the real reason Ibanez decided to make more PGMs is because Paul's popularity is ever growing.. and so is the second hand Ibanez PGM market. So they wanted to steal some of the thunder. They decide to let the market choose.. but the market is run with retards. I honestly just hope every single person who voted 300 will buy one. So Ibanez will continue the reissues like every year in order.

I think a SMART move for Ibanez, would be to produce all of the damn models...or at least the top 3-5.

I think they don't have an idea how many people would buy the 800.

Too bad they don't have a customization option like Carvin...that way they could make so many different sounding variations and versions of the PGM.

Ibanez needs a custom shop that caters to the average joe imo.

Oh foshizzle. I am so comfy with Ibanez, but they're just not releasing something that FITS what I am looking for. If they had a custom shop ala-Carvin, they would fucking dominate the market.

Imagine RGs that come out CUSTOM. No more mods. Quality tone woods. Flamed/quilted tops. Maple/ebony fretboards. Maybe your own choice of inlays (tree of life, off-set, COLORED SHARKFIN INLAYS, etc).

I'd get my own custom RG or SA, then I'm fucking set for life.

When people stop buying new production Ibanez guitars, I'm sure it can happen. But they're getting by just fine.

I just heard that all the PGM's, except the fireman, from the stand in Frankfurt are signed by Paul for some reason. Anyone knows why?

Would they sell for charity? I'll give my girlfriend for the 200!!
