Also posted in the other orange topic:

Why don't we arrange, that someone will order 10 (?or more) orange PGM's by a guitarbuilder for a fixed price. F.e. people who are trusted on the board can join, pay upfront, together discuss the project and the country where it will be build will send it to the ones who ordered it. We can set a time line and so.

If this is something a lot of people are interested in, I'm willing to help, and of course I want one! I know a builder, but he builds top quality and will be more expensive. If the reactions are positive, we can open a new topic.

That looks great. I know how great it feels to get a build finally assembled and playable.

im done with individual luthiers, im sure there are plenty out there that are fine but i got ripped off and wont be doing that again...Ive seen some bad stuff about Chris woods too, i was really tempted to get a orange pgm made by him based on what these pics look like but to me its just not worth the chance..If you have a few hours and want to read about a real scumbag, heres the link

I have worked with Chris on several projects and can tell you he is one of the best out there for ibanez copies. The problem is that guitar building is his only income and he often takes on more work than he can do.

Btw, you think Paul has two orange PGMs or he just repainted the f-holes on this one? :P

Yes,

I did e-mail Paul about it and he said that the guitar was brought back to the Ibanez custom shop in Hollywood to add the cream outlines around the f-holes. I think the pickups have also been changed out a few times. It started with Tone Zones and then went to the D-Activators. I am not sure what pickups are in it now.

BTW,

I have replaced the headstock decal and it is now silver like the original.

I will post a picture in a day or so.

I'd totally ignore comments about it not being 100% accurate. That guitar is, without a doubt, one of the most awesome looking guitars I have ever seen. It is just unspeakably brilliant, and this is me talking here.

Fucking stunning. Little else to say.

Amazing 8)
