By the way Patrick only did the clear coat and polish on this. He did a great job though. I am happy with the end result.
What was his turnaround time?

Chris sent the body with a bunch of other things he wanted Patrick to work on. I believe he had this guitar for at least 6 months. It looks like he had it finished last September but I was waiting on Chris's other guitar bodies so I just received the body back last week. I think Patrick is on a 10 to 12 week turnaround at the moment but I wouldn't want to speak for him.

The guitar came out great. Sims did a good job on it.

Im sure you can start with PGM with a rosewood neck, then you would only have to match the paint and trim.

If it was only that simple.

The only PGM's with rosewood board, dot inlays and non reversed headstocks are the 400 and the 401, if you wanted to be accurate you would have to add a flamed maple veneer to the headstock.. Both those guitars bodies are different wood than the orange PGM ,and don't have a maple top or binding. The 401 also has a trem and a middle singe coil.

Yes,

The only real way to do this is custom. By the way Patrick only did the clear coat and polish on this. He did a great job though. I am happy with the end result.

There was no actual damage to the wood itself when it fell? Like depressions or dings?

NICE

I would rather this not turn in to a Patrick Sims / Christopher Woods bashing thread.

I can only vouch for my work ethic and follow through. I only take on as much as I can handle but this is not my day job.

I am glad everyone likes the replica so far. I hope to update with a finished guitar next week.

I can't believe how tolerant those customers were. I would be taking legal action to return me goods asap.

Beautiful guitar OP.

Nor do I but I also believe in full disclosure and I won't say anything more than that.

So when are you going to get the whole guitar together? It's such a tease to post pics of just body. :)

I am hoping to get this together next weekend. I am waiting on some of the parts which should come this week.

Two of the best PGMs ever made.

I am almost done but need to get some string ferrels for the back and the other tone zone for the neck position. I have not mounted the pickup rings yet (which is why they don't appear straight).

As soon as I get the other tone zone and ferrels, I will finish her up.
