Hey,

I put in an order, then got a call saying they couldnt source it from their supplier. >.>
I had a feeling that would happen to be honest, so i didnt get my hope up.

There are a couple of places ive seen online that still have some, but it'll either be the same case or they are double the usual price!

Im gunna keep an eye on ebay, see if anything nice pops up.

Expensive, but not quite double. http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Guitars/El ... p1785.aspx

i think the PGM301 is a real dull model :( i would rather have a 300 with paint from 2009 :D

In real life it is an incredibly striking guitar. It looks amazing.
Yeah maybe so :/ but it feels like if you stand on a stage and trying to be cool it don´t really feel like a young dudes guitar :) give it to eric johnson haha ^^

But when Paul plays it it could look quite cool! but not as cool as the 401 or the 100 :)

There is just something i love about the 301.

The simplicity of the fixed bridge (i just spent an evening setting up my friends JS which had the worst set up ever.. i was preying for a fixed bridge at that time :P), the crisp white, plus its just the guitar i think of when i think "Paul Gilbert". First time i ever saw a video of him, he was playing it and... i just loved it from then on.

Ill get one... one day!

Hey,

Update: I got hold of one, it was delivered yesterday!
I gave up looking on google, and just called a few small music shops around the country and eventually found one. Goes to prove asking around still gets you somewhere!

I know we've all seen PGM301's but in the slighty altered words of that guy from full metal jacket:

"This is my PGM301. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My PGM301 is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My PGM301, without me, is useless... etc"

Congratz dude. Where'd you get it in the end? Would it be rude to ask how much?

Nope. But I think I'm just gonna go buy me an acoustic instead.

Hey,

I like to think i got a pretty good price! Though i bet you'll say otherwise :P
Got it for £780.
Seemed kinda tasty :)

I've been meaning to buy a decent acoustic guitar for about 5 years :P

Thats not a bad price at all considering they arent making them anymore. A year ago that may have been £50-100 steep, but nowadays I dont think youd get one new any cheaper.

Congrats again, hope you like it.

PS Remember to lower that middle pup or it will piss you off no end...

In a totally OCD cosmetic way, it bugs me the middle pickup is just a tiny bit of a different white :P
