Damn! And I thought that this purple/pink was Racer X already!

Ain't that a green racer x-ified beauty!

Eh, I've already got my dream customized PGM but I'm not going to bore everyone with posting the same pics I posted in another recent thread.

I'll just say I've already got one and leave it at that. :)

I don't remember actually. I was just on my usual (Find your dream gear thread) binge, and came across that one.

I right clicked the picture and it said I got it from http://www.schoolmusic.co.kr

or something. It's a revamped PGM30...

PGM 801 :)

Specs:

Black Korina (Warmer than white) body with Ash top
3pc Maple/Bubinga/Maple neck
Maple fretboard
PGM neck dimensions
Thicker neck joint, but still AANJ
Volume pot is also a Neck coil split
PAF Pro bridge pickup
HS-2 Single Coil
Humbucker From Hell neck pickup

I don't think I'd ever use another guitar and like it more than this. The sustain and warmth of the Korina body, but with the brightness of the Ash top (Korina is there to help with sustain, and to make the ash more pleasing when soloing), M/B/M neck won't even break (3 super sturdy woods), and all 3 woods are nice'n'bright and sustain for days, Maple fretboards4life (Although, Rosewood and Ebony are still awesome too) PGM necks rule, a coil split for versitility, and the HFH sounds godly when in SC mode, and you can't have a guitar without a PAF Pro in the bridge. HS-2, Twang King, Area 67 and Virtual Solo are my favorite SCs, but I chose the HS-2 for balance.

I´m not a big fan of "glam" guitars and I thing Paul and the guys at Hoshinho agree with me. Let's keep it simple and let's try something new. I'm pretty sure this scketch would make Paul think "humm...nice! Let's try it". P-90's always had some very unique sound kind of mix of both worlds and at least, i would like to try one.

I think Black or White Limba would match great with P-90´s and the maple fretboard to make notes pop-out more clearly.

I know it's expensive, but i would like to try the stainless-steel frets. Medium size. Compensated pure bone nut, instead of TUSQ which is a composite. Gotoh locking tuners would also be very appreciated. CTS electronics and maybe some string-savers installed on the Gotoh hardtail. Very small specs that I'm pretty sure would make a HUGE difference.

This would be completly new to Ibanez, but I know i am not alone in this matter, so a compound 10-14' radius scale would be something to have in mind, also as an experiment. I've alway's felt some kind of a grip-less sensation in the down frets, for some chords.

As always, all these issues are complete utopia for Ibanez brand. Forget it. Go buy a Suhr, Anderson or something like that.

Looks like a cross between the pgm and an andy thimmons signature ibanez, I like it!
