Edit: Do not cheat. You cheat, they'll toss the results out as invalid, and Paul will just decide whatever he feels like that day.

no system can see, wheter you're using proxy, or not, far as i can tell... same for dynamic ip ;)

EDIT: Where is this quote from?

"paul will announce (...) at Frankfurt Messe '09 (...)"

He's gonna be at MusikMesse?! (awesome)
The American tour will be over by then?! It's usually the early-middle of March.

This comes, after your voting ;)

I checked:
MusikMesse: 01.-04. April 2009....^^
if Paul's presence's confirmed - i'm there ;)

+1 for the 200!!

I don't like the idea of the changing IP. That's not fair. I'm going to visit a internet cafe in China where they have a bezillion PC's lined up.

Cheers,

Albert

just imagine, i could reach that internet café from my pc... every single pc, with different ip...
this would be the same, as proxy ;)

well, for me it doesn't really matter, which model will be re-released.... it's just a hint for people, who do matter ;)
wheter you do that, or not, it's up to you ^^

What's the fascination with the 200?

Jenn, you say the 800 and 401 are similar but the pickups are very different.

Tone Zones / Air Classics

The 200 is the epitome of paul's 80s chic! Plus it's pretty rare to see one used.

As for the 800 and 401, you've got different pups, pup configurations, the 800 is swamp ash, gold vs cosmo hardware. Oh and the 401 has a burst finsih, the 800 doesnt. I'd say that's a fair few, albit relatively minor, differences. Which brings us to the 200, which is completetly different from them both!

Sorry, dunno what's up with my 200 obsession. It'll cool off soon i hope!

The 800 and 401 are similar. They are the only 2 production PGM's with ash bodies. They both have hardtails, and rosewood fretboards. The biggest difference to me between the two is the square heel on the 401, and the AANJ on the 800. I don't see the different pickups being a big deal those can be easily changed.

The 200 looks great. Even if the clear coat yellows making the guitar look greenish. If I didn't already have a 200 and a 700 I probably would have voted for one of those. I ended up voting for the 800 since I don't have one, and have wanted one for a long time.

It is all about the 700 for me. Always loved that guitar, but hated the fact that there were only 50-odd made.

The fact that it is impractical doesn't bother me in the slightest!

There probably is more than 50. Ibanezrules has one with serial number 71. Then there are prototypes like the one I own without stamped serial numbers.

I'm looking at Paul's (Racer X) set list from the NAMM show and there seems to be an emphasis on the 800. It seemed that way in the textual description he gave on the Ibanez website, too - that or the 300/301. Someone said it was his writing on the set list (it does look that way), so, it was his decision what guitars to use for what songs. So if that's any indication to you guys at which might be favored... have at it. I am used to trying to guess Paul's gifts/surprises based on little, crazy hints like this... Paul is the master of this sort of stuff, it makes things so lively and fun...

Obviously if everyone votes clean for something other then the 800 then he's not going to say "these votes are not valid" - he'll go with what the democracy has to say :).
