For what it is worth, Paul is finally getting some much deserved hype with all the new stuff, and this may be the best time to try and get another regular production model released.

Honestly, how many would have bought another 301 if it had just come in different colors?

Regardless of what happens, I will eventuality break down and order both a 401 and the flanger pedal.

That's a good point. I'll bet a lot of people would buy another 301 if it were just in different colors. Which is cool. But on the contrary, I think people also like to collect all the numbered models of the series because THEY'RE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL, and it's fun to say, "hey i have a 100, a 301, and whatever-hundred". Right?

Haha look at my avatar. Gyar.

The fact that he has to get to the stage of 'breakdown' to buy it makes the work 'like' pretty strained.

Is there anyone who has more signiture guitars than Paul? I think every one they add dilutes the rest.

How much would it cost to professionally make your own orange PGM? How would you go about it?

Add my name to the list, I would buy the orange model above any of the others. And yes, Ibanez, I can afford it.

Me too.

But no, I can not afford it!

Every model has something all the other models don't. I think if ibanez starts reissuing old models every year that might dilute the rest.

If you consider a Les Paul as a signature model Les probably has more models than Paul.

A board member had an orange PGM made by chris woods. You can see it on his website under repros if you click on the picture of the orange PGM it has more pictures. Cost would depend on how it was made. If a maple veneer is used instead of a thicker maple top it would help keep the cost down. http://christopherwoods.com/

Heh, I have a composite image of a slew of custom colored PGMs I generated when I was working out some ideas for one of my PGMs. I'll post it tomorrow just for the heck of it. It makes a decent desktop wallpaper.

The Chris Woods orange PGM is perfect. I wonder what base ibanez he used. It looks like whoever wants an orange PGM, your problem is solved.

My dream guitar would be that orange PGM, but with a maple fretboard, and a singe coil in the neck

I am one who built that Orange PGM on Christopher Woods website. I also did the double neck, Dino RG, Bones Guitars, Beast Guitar, and the Shark. If anyone is interested in these they should contact me.

Chris built the blank and cut the main body on the CnC. I helped him with the programming, binding, f-hole graphics, and paint. The double neck is using original ibanez necks.

Here is the link to the Orange PGM.
