Dang. While I was sleeping, some cool dude in Austria visited the site and found all the info. ;)
(I seriously woke up at 12:30 after midnight and searched the entire Ibanez jp site, so this must have happened right after I went back to bed.)

I was watching the video, trying to figure out where that was filmed. Not one second after I realized "that's his home studio" (because I saw all the bass traps on the wall & in the corners, just like he'd described it), Oscar jumped on the keyboard out of nowhere. LOLOLOL!!

Hah, cats... mine used to do the same thing, which is how I realized I should always use an old, beat-up keyboard -- if it breaks because some critter wants to sleep on it, oh well. :)

Everyone should look up the Bad Kitty List. It is hilarious.

On the axe: This was revealed a few days ago on that Ibanez thread. The tough work is going to be writing something new-original about this...

yeah, that's how we Austrians are: When you least expect it, they steal your thunder

PGA1000 Dude: hehe!! No, not at all, you stole no thunder - you shared with all of us, as soon as you found out... which makes you cooler. I seriously appreciated the tip, and as soon as I woke up, a double-bonus. :)

It's been blogged:

http://metalichicka.wordpress.com/2009/ ... ce-guitar/

Just in case you have dialup and you don't want to download the whole QT vid, or something like that. ;)

If I fkd anything up, like if I did something bad in the description, let me know! (I doubt it...)

BTW Paul's artwork is hilarious... very cool. Always nice to see.

So does this mean that it is the original profile neck and not the 5 piece neck?

No back shots of it.

I would get one of those 100RE's if the price is reasonable. I would just prefer it as a hardtail, but that's ok. :)

I like how the website has the 400 and 500 the wrong way round on the main list page, and they got the mid pickup wrong on the 301. Wonder what else isnt quite right. Maybe the 100RE is actually black... :D

The original 100 had the older style neck joint with a square heel. And the 100 has a non reversed headstock.

Some of the specs Ibanez lists for the older PGMs are wrong. They say the 200 has a 1 piece neck, but I think it should say 2 piece. At least mine is 2 piece with a scarf joint.

Just got in from Uni!!

Slightly disappointed it has the exact same pickups as my 301 could have done with a Tone Zone :P

Looks great though, not sure if I'll get it though

Fireman is priority.

I am a bit disappointed, however, I will be saving money since I have a nice original 100, funds transferred to 401 8)

I don't want to say anything negative because maybe this is what Paul wanted. However, I have no interest in an original 100, much less a re-issue.

I hope the guitar is very successful for Paul.

I personally am disappointed, as I wanted something new. However others like it so that's cool I guess.
