Post Ibanez PGM300
Hi, I'm new to these boards (but I've been lurking for about 3 weeks!). I've been looking for an Ibanez PGM300 in relatively good condition (i.e. not overly yellow and without too major damage). I've had no luck so far finding one on ebay. Does anyone know how much these usually go for, and even more importantly, where the hell I can find one?

Welcome to the board. The best place to keep checing for a 300, or any PGM's, is the PGM's Available thread. Whenever one pops up for sale, that's where it gets posted.

As far price. For a nice clean, un-yellowed 300, you're probably going to be looking at the $800-$1000 price range. 8) --Jason

Cheers Jason. I'll keep checking there and I'll post up any PGM's I find while looking :)

Ye soz dude, but as this is gonna be my 1st PGM I want it to be pretty darn good so I'm not put off buying more (the 800 looks amazing, but is outa my price range for the moment!).

You could always try sanding it down and repainting it if you really want to sell. Or something I think would be awesomely cool is to get that plastic mirror stuff you can buy and then gluing that over the body, then painting the black f holes onto that.

Good point (assuming your talking about repainting it), but it would be easier to sell refurbished perhaps? I don't know.

Sounds like it just needs a professional set up and it should be fine. I'd take it in and get the works, it will make a difference.

what's wrong with it? why doesn't it feel good? i agree with a previous post that you probably just need a full setup on it.

i cant get the action nearly close to that of my other guitars. there is so much buzz and fretting out. i straightened the neck which helped a little... yesterday i took it in to be set up. my tech said he can improve it a little bit but i might have to stick with its high action.
