If you don't need the exact ones on the dino guitar I have some extras. I currently have 12 extra but have a set I just won off ebay on the way so I will have a few more soon.

So Question, If i theoretically attach these stickers on and by chance i wanted to remove the stickers would it leave sticky residue? And if so will trying to remove the sticky residue scratch or damage the finish of the guitar? :P

If you do get sticky stuff left on your guitar you can use nail polish remover or brake cleaner to get the glue off. Just put a drop of the stuff onto a cloth and rub the glue until it comes off... It's great for getting stickers off if they get stuck to CD cases but I've used it on a guitar before and it didn't damage the finish at all...

Brake fluid....!!!! OMG do you know how corrosive that stuff is.

The best stuff i've found is GOO GONE and it won't hurt the paint.
I had a nasty nasty sticker on my RG550 that did not want to come off.
Several attempts with GOO GONE and there is no trace left.

The foil stickers come off very easily. I have had to remove a few when I was not happy with the placement. The Dino stickers come off very easy but the baseball stickers leave some foil a residue behind. I was able to wipe this off easily without any solvents.

It does depend on how long you leave them on and what kind of temperatures they are exposed to. If you leave them on the guitar for several months in a hot climate the residue will be more pronounced and harder to remove.

Not to mention that the clearcoat on many guitars discolors over time so the area with the sticker will have a different color than the rest of the guitar.

Is the binding on the orange PGM real or paint?

I am having a replica built and sent some very good reference to Patrick Sims (he will be painting my replica). According to Patrick it is real binding.

Ayrton,

Are you doing a replica of the orange PGM?

I am having a friend build one using my 300 body as a reference to program his CNC. I have also given him reference for the correct control cavity route which is wider than a standard PGM. It has taken a while to locate the correct laminate top (to math as close as possible to the original).

Another thing to take note of is that Paul's pickup rings don't appear to be bolted to the body using the four corner screws. It appears that he has the pickups direct mounted and is using the mounting rings just to give the accent color to match the binding.

I am mulling it over. I have the two at SIMS now, so I am not gung ho about starting another one, but I think the GOOMY PGM is soooo choice.

Here is the start of my Dino replica. All I need now is a refinish, pickups and a hardtail conversion. I even tracked down the same strap Paul has been using with his.
