Ouch !! Don't feel bad Ruth, I made the same mistake with American Soldier..... The lesson I learned was no longer can I just buy a new Queensryche disc without listening to it FIRST.... I listened to Ded to Chaos all the way through on Napster first and decided not to waste my $13.....

p.s. keep in mind I still backed up QR when everyone else jumped ship after "Promised Land"..... I stuck with them and thought there was still alot of good stuff on H.I.T.N.F - Q2K - Tribe - Mincrime ll, etc..... But NOW even I think they've exhausted whatever was left of the band post DeGarmo.....

It is a sad day for me...

Nice choices, Matheus! I can see you're a Rush fan. Permanent Waves is a favorite of mine.

I recently acquired this:

Megadeth - Th1rt3en

I know people have some hang-ups about Th1rt3en, but after listening to it once, I can conclude that it's not bad. I think the album benefits both in sound and feel from Ellefson's return; his distinct low-end growl is back in the mix. Before I really judge the quality of the tunes, I'll have to give it another listen. I like it, so far.

Flotsam & Jetsam - Doomsday for the Deceiver

and

Flotsam & Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace

Classic thrash from F&J.

Did ya like Chickenfoot III ?

Satch's tone is so not rock n roll anymore... I think he needs to revert to the Surfing With The Alien tone to sound convincing in a rock band.

Acid...yup, I liked the album; I think I still prefer the first one though, I find it more entertaining and straight forward, while this III album is a bit more relaxed.

Even though I like Satch´s tone, it doesn´t bother me at all. Is it his best tone ever? Hardly, but its OK.

Alex...well, I didn´t had Blizzard and Diary, since I hated the re-recorded bass/drums versions that were available, so these were a MUST have :)

I'm really loving my new Priest albums, but especially like Overkill. What a rocking album. :D
