But the line up they have is fucking great.
Hopefully Scott have/can sort himself out with the drugs and shit.

I missed it, but I saw a video clip of it this morning (the first 2:47 of the song ... cut off right as Slash was starting his solo :x ). Great band ... but with the people involved, I'd give it one tour and one more CD and they'll self destruct ... it's almost inevitable.

I don't agree...even through Weiland's fighting the H, the STP tours have always gone well, and I have no idea how that works. LOL.

With GNR, the problem wasnt' Duff or Slash or Matt, it was Axl.

I think this is going to be a HUGE opportunity for a rock band to come in and just own the world.

Yeah, Chad, you see it to. This is an opportunity for a classic sounding rock band to sweep the world. Music business goes in cycles; nowadays, the trends of arranging complex pieces of musics are dying out, and you can see all the standard sounding rock bands breaking right thru.

Anyway, my brother is going to a Velvet Revolver show here in Washington, D.C., tomorrow. He said he was going three hours early so he can get a good seat. He had to buy the tickets from some ticket scalper, and they went for $100 a piece.

I love the single. This thing is what Guns should have done 10 years ago.
The solo (and its backing) is 100% Use Your Illusion, which is fucking awesome.

I'll get the album as soon as I can!

irrelevant note: Weiland is starting to look like Iggy Pop!

I didn't stay up and watch Letterman, but I did download the performance from http://www.belowempty.com/vr/index.php

I thought Weiland could have pushed himself a little harder on the chorus, but it was a pretty good act. Kickass song. :D

Yeah, they did "Set Me Free" for the Hulk thing to basically get Scott Weiland a chance to play with them without any pressure. I haven't heard the whole thing.

Slither (they performed it at the El Ray theater so you probably have it on your bootleg)
