Dude...if you guys haven't checked out Eric Sardinas, I suggest you do so. Classic Dobro player who also uses it as a rippin' electric guitar. Dobros with Seymour Duncan mini humbuckers through Rivera amps. He plays traditionals as well as high-octane blues heavy rock.

Check out www.ericsardinas.com and you WON'T be disappointed.

Yeah, I've seen him play, heard him play and he was sitting with us at the G3 show in Anaheim a couple (few?) years ago. Heck of a nice guy.

He's got his original that he burned and a Sig Model, lol, he rocks!!

I saw him at a Vai concert once. It was a smaller theater. He acctually jumped off of the stage and come right down in the middle of the floor....right in front of me. He stood in front of me going crazy with his slide. I have never seen anyone play slide guitar that fast in my life!

As a matter of fact when he turned around to go back to the stage he almost hit my head with the neck of the guitar! Missed me by a couple of inched!

I've never heard his stuff, but I've always had a negative impression about him ever since I heard somone saying he jumped off stage and rubbed his sweaty body all over them. But I saw him on the Vai DVD and he seemed alright. Couldn't really hear him.

oh yeah, at the end of the Vai DVD, Sardinas is just RIPPING up the neck with his slide work. He's so accurate it just floors me...
