On track 4, are you running those sex noises through auto-tune, or can you actually stay on-pitch in the act?

Hahahaha

Naw I actually wrote the song around these sex noises that I had recorded in the first place. That's why the backing melodies and riffs match the sex noises so well. By the way Ken Hower and String Skipper get credits for background sex noises in this song too.

One of the best fusion albums I've heard in a while there!

Well, let's see:

Pat Metheny - Letter From Home / Bright Size Life
Lee Ritenour - Six String Theory
Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced
Lars Danielsson, Hubert Nuss, Wolfgang Haffner -Acoustic Shapes
Motorpsycho - Little Lucid Moments
Larry Carlton/Lee Ritenour - Larry & Lee
Jeff Beck - Wired
Temple Of The Dog - Temple Of The Dog
Johannes Zetterberg - Luna Nueva (Hey Levi, you'll probably dig this one!)
Espen Jørgensen - On The Great Alkali Plains
The Sword - Warp Riders

Mind that these are my top played albums right now, not all time favs. :)

Devils advocate mode: ON

How do you explain "Sunday Afternoon In The Park", "One Foot Out The Door", and aside from the great solo on this track "Push Comes To Shove" ??

Eventhough I LOVE the rest of FW IMO it ranks right behind VH1 which doesn't have NOT ONE bad track (filler) on it...

This is hard. And this list might be very innacurate:

Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Racer X - Technical Difficulties
Rush - 2112
Led Zeppeliln - Physical Graphitti
Dream Theater - Scenes From a Memory
Judas Priest - Painkiller
Jeff Beck - Blow By Blow
Death - The Sound of Perseverance
Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth
Black Sabbath - Paranoid/Black Sabbath

This list doesn't mean those are my favorite albums all the time. I just tried to pick the best albums from different styles of Rock and Metal, and this is it. I don't even own Blind Guardian's Nightfall in Middle Earth, but this is such a great concept album and a masterpiece for Epic Metal. Death's album is just as good as Death can be IMO. It's heavy and technical, and I've never heard any band write songs like those. I had a hard time with Sabbath, just because most of their albums are pure gold. I even considered Heaven and Hell's album "The Devil You Know", but I ran out of space. haha

So, this list basically contains albums which songs make me think "Holy shit, this song is awesome" and then the next one is just as awesome and so on. By the end of those, I think "there's not a single bad song in there".

Post Re: Top 10 albums, right now?
To make it fair, I'm limiting one album per band. I cannot arrange them in a specific order.

The rock/metal list:

Rust in Peace by Megadeth
Among the Living by Anthrax
Street Lethal by Racer X
Moving Pictures by Rush
Stained Class by Judas Priest
Master of Puppets by Metallica
South of Heaven by Slayer
Van Halen, by Van Halen
Dressed to Kill, by KISS
Appetite for Destruction, by Guns N' Roses

Pretty straight-forward list, although I had difficulty with the last bit. I haven't been listening to a lot of KISS, VH, or GN'R lately. It's mostly been, well, metal. Of course, the "Big Four" command their unshakable presence in my list, but there are tons of other thrash bands that produced fantastic albums: Testament, Exodus, Flotsam & Jetsam, just to name a few. Had trouble picking my favorite Priest album; in the end, it had to be Stained Class because I think it was the most "metal" album of its time (although this would be highly disputable). Picked a solid favorite Rush album (no surprises there)--seeing Rush perform the entirety of this album on their most recent tour may have persuaded me.

And the jazz/fusion list:

Moanin' by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers
Mingus Ah Um by Charles Mingus
Big Swing Face by Buddy Rich
Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Romantic Warrior by Return to Forever
Somethin' Else by Cannonball Adderley
Speak No Evil by Wayne Shorter
Birth of the Cool by Miles Davis
Giant Steps by John Coltrane
Take Five by the Dave Brubeck Quartet

I would have liked to include Gene Krupa, Thelonious Monk, Max Roach, Sonny Rollins, Stan Getz, and so many others I neglected to list. There is simply not enough room in the Top 10! I know some people will consider Mercy, Mercy the best Rich album, but I feel Swing Face had more snap to it. It almost might be sacrilegious to leave out Kind of Blue, but I am not the biggest Miles Davis fan. And even so, I'm not convinced that Blue was his best work. I like Birth because it represents Miles' roots very well, and the kind of innovator he really was. The inclusion of a Wayne Shorter album may surprise some, but it's definitely a very sonically pleasing album. Of course, I had to include some of the fusion giants of the '70s: Weather Report, Return to Forever. I would have put Birds on Fire by Mahavishnu Orchestra, but despite all the immense talent that went into the production of the album, it just doesn't stick with me very well.
