Post Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards - Joe Satriani
Hello guitarheads.

So, has anyone else checked it out?
I made a short review: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4843&start=1840
Beware, this link could be a Rick Roll. (No it really is a review this time)

In short:
I gotta say as usual it's a solid album but really not a masterpiece, and it doesn't rock. It will more likely relax you or sit well as ambiant music, but it won't shred your face off. It's probably a lot better than Professor Satchafunkilus And The Musterion Of Rock which had pretty weak moments and the song Musterion ressembled the title song of Not Of This Earth a lot.

You won't be wasting your money if you buy that album... but I really wish Joe turned up the volume and tempo and unleashed the rock fury and riffs like he used to.

I just recently acquired the album. I really like it! I'm actually listening to it right now.

Nice album. There are no spectacular songs, but the songs are melodics, good arrangements and production. I'm not a fan of Satriani but I like this kind of guitar playing in this album. I hope that it will inspired him for Chickenfoot next album.

still thinking if I´m buying it or not. Absolutely disappointed with Satch´s last 3 albums, so I´m a bit worried about this one, even though the reviews have been a lot better than before...

might give it a try...
