In all seriousness: Yngwie is one hell of a guitarist. He is a force of raw guitar power.

And his infamous personality? I put it like this: The guitar universe would be quite boring without an over the top character like Yngwie.

Post Re: The Yngwie J. Malmsteen Appreciation Thread
Yngwie has become a fat ass and has a shit personnality.
However, I hopefully belive his personality has become better over the years. I haven't heard of any Yngwie scandal in a while.

And: Rising Force is just too kick ass for him to not be considered a genius. I love his albums all the way to Odyssey.

Say what you wish about Yngwie now, but in my book, he has still revolutionized rock n roll. Maybe not as much as Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix, but he has definitely influenced hard rock and shred.

Yngwie was the fucking man back in the day. Untouchable at one point and set the bar for mixing melody and shred if you ask me..

If we're looking at the same word, isn't it a play on words as opposed to a typo??

("Hole"?)
