it's already 5 years... time flies

he did a lot of stuff other than a studio record in these 5 years though
so I think he also had one release (live CD, DVD, or something) every year, like Paul did.

His last live DVD, "Where The Wild Things Are" remains on my list of top 3 band-DVD.
Before watching it, I thought "violins? Vai is going crazy!".
Then I saw the DVD like everyday for 3 weeks. Awesome performance, sound quality/mix, setlist, crowd interaction. Everything I wanted on a DVD was there.
The only weak point: the camera guy still closes on Steve's face everytime, I hate this hahaahha

Note: I really didn't like the Astoria DVD :roll:
