All right, I think a bit different than Doc, and feel that this 2009 provided tons of cool records.

So, here is up to make your list.

Mine, in no particular order:

Kiss - Sonic Boom
Megadeth - Endgame
Kreator - Hordes Of Chaos
Freak Kitchen - Land Of The Freaks
Winger - Karma
Foreigner - CanĀ“t Slow Down
Ace Frehley - Anomaly
Europe - Last Look At Eden
Chickenfoot - s/t
Richie Kotzen - Peace Sign

In order:

1. Transatlantic- The Whirlwind
1. Dream Theater- Black Clouds and Silver Linings
3. Porcupine Tree- The Incident
4. Between the Buried and Me- The Great Misdirect
5. Mastodon- Crack the Skye
6. Megadeth- Endgame
7. Animals as Leaders- Animals as Leaders
8. Paul Gilbert and Freddie Nelson- United States

That's a top 8. I can't think of any more albums I liked enough to include in a top 10.

Sonic Boom wasn't all that good after all. I was exited 'caus I love Kiss, so my opinion was biased, but then I listened to that album more objectively, and it really wasn't as good as classic Kiss.

It's not a really bad album either though.
My favorite track on it is Russian Roulette.

I like the album. I think it sounds fresh, and it has some very cool tunes, such as "Russian Roulette", "Never Enough", "Stand", "All For The Glory" and "Say Yeah"...

Nah the solo on All For The Glory is a medley of all the following bits of previous Kiss songs:

The bends: Strutter '78 solo
Pentatonic style melody: C'mon And Love Me outro
Decending licks: Parasite solo

And probably more that slipped under my radar.
I can't enjoy that song because it ressembles other Kiss songs too much.

I think they should've let the real Space-Man take care of the guitar.

I think the band ordered Tommy to play a-la "Ace". He sounds like Spaceman in the album, no doubt about it.
