Post Jane's Addiction
Now that the topic of Jane's Addiction has been brought up...

As I said before, before Jane's Addiction, Perry Farrell was in Psi Com.

I've got Nothing's Shocking and Ritual De Lo Habitual, but I still don't have their self-titled album, which I hear is live... sort of.

Anyone here heard their sort of live self-titled album?

The one that was put out by XXX Records? Yeah I own it. It's good.

I've got a Psi Com CD around somewhere. I've been looking for it, but I haven't found it yet. I'd thought I might have to move a while back, so I packed various things up in boxes. Now I'm in the process of unpacking. I'll have to give it another listen when I come across it...

Speaking of Jane's, check this shit out:

Look who they've been in the studio with:

Yep...Jane's has been in the studio with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.
And rumor has it that they may tour the US in the Spring.

I've been looking for anything of the band Deconstruction featuring Dave Navarro and Eric Avery of Jane's Addiction. I've heard that they wanted Stephen Perkins in the band too, but he was busy playing with Perry Farrell in Porno For Pyros at the time.

Damn, Trent got beefy. The last time I had tickets to see Jane's Addiction they canceled the tour. I used to really like their music, haven't listened to them in years though.

The reunited original lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION played another low-key Los Angeles show last night (Monday, February 16) at the Echoplex. Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be viewed below (courtesy of Capital_M and moviebruin).

In other news, Billboard.com reports that the reunited JANE'S ADDICTION will play its first major show at the eighth Sasquatch! Music Festival, to be held May 23-25 at the Gorge in Quincy, Washington.

JANE'S ADDICTION is planning to tour this spring with NINE INCH NAILS, who are also confirmed for Sasquatch.

The pairing with JANE'S ADDICTION was inspired by NIN's stint on the maiden Lollapalooza tour in 1991, which was headlined by JANE'S. The band broke up for the first time shortly thereafter, only to reunite minus original bassist Eric Avery in 1997 and again in 2001.

If I remember correctly, Flea played in the place of Eric Avery.

He also played trumpet or something on a Jane's Addiction song way back.

Thats quite interesting I might go have a listen myself when I get the time.

I saw Perry Farrell last year when he was in a band with Nuno in Satellite Party and he still seems full of energy on stage! It actually suprised me when I got to speka to him after the show and he was a very calm and relaxed guy

I did prefer Janes addiction's music more though, so I'm glad there is a reunion of sorts

Yes he did...and that tour was documented in the movie "Three Days".

From the studio picture and the videos it looks like Dave is playing an Ibanez RG. I would have thought he'd be playing his signature PRS.

Went to the NIN/Jane's Addiction show on Long Island recently. They allowed video and audio recording of all the bands. I took my HD video camera and a decent microphone to the show and got some footage.
Don't forget to click the HD button for better quality.
