I always found Jason's tone was good, not as a guitar sound, but the sustain and trebleness makes it sound like a violin.

And; I never get tired of that clip! :) And BOY do I want a Carvin now!!!!

I think that sound file was one of the bonus computer tracks for Jason's "Collection" album that came out recently. If some of you haven't bought it, you should go pick it up, as it includes two new songs he wrote.

By the way, listening to Mabel's Fatal Fabel, it sounds like he has the phase switch on or coil tap engaged. It might be a look into Jason's unique tone for you guys that are interested.
