Post This One's For Gringo...
Since Gringo loves the rock & roll incest let's see how good you are. No helping him people.

Here we go:

What do Journey & Vinnie Vincent have in common? Remember, no helping. We await your response.

Wow. After that wave of 6 degrees of seperation, no word from Gringo. I give him till tomorrow then it's open to anyone.

P.S. I was hoping for a quicker response, because as a follow up I have a great one that's kind of related.

Former Journey singer Robert Fleischman and Vinnie Vincent played together in Warrior and Vinnie Vincent Invasion, and Robert Fleischman also sang on some of Vinnie Vincent's solo music.

The first Vinnie Vincent Invasion album? I've heard that they wanted Mark Slaughter to sing on it, but they couldn't locate him. So instead they settled with Robert Fleischman, who Vinnie Vincent knew from Warrior.

I had heard that Vinnie & Dana liked his voice for the band, but the tape wasn't labeled or something. The story goes on that they were on a deadline & had to complete the album. Robert was brought in & told to do his best Mark Slaughter.

More rock & roll incest. Wasn't sure how well known this was so instead of a question I'll just relate the story. According to a very good source who will remain nameless, but who's name rhymes with Saul Hilbert, Mark Slaughter had auditioned via demo tape (to some since forgotten Racer X songs) but did not fit the mold. Who knew?

More demo stuff. Jeff Scott Soto did a bunch of vocals on Vinnie Vincent demos in about 1987.

And of course, Jeff Scott Soto was ALSO a lead vocalist for Journey.

Sorry, my friend. I had totally forgotten. I will redirect all my Gringo-related junk to that very forum.
