Really not a concert, but I wanted you guys to see this!
Even though they use a lot of distortion and delay, they are both pretty good:

Pretty steril, but the Ibanez guy does Serrana pretty good!

I heard and watched that other new Metallica song. Frankly it sounds to me like, as with St. Anger, though still out of kilter, they're trying to work their way, as genuinely and unforcedly as possible, back to the original sound. I mean, Kirk was actually allowed to do not just one, but two solos on that song... almost sounded like himself again. I think there's hope for those guys yet. And I'm not comfortable with not dozens of tape trades, but billions of unpaid for downloads of any struggling small-name band's albums, not just bigwigs like Metallica or Elton John, and what that means for initial funds being raised, or lack thereof, for touring where the long-term money is, or isn't, if you're not making any money off of cd sales.
And yes tablature publishers shoot themselves majorly in the foot by playing the 'Permanently out-of Print' game, which is why many artists, such as DragonForce, and here, Racer X, post their own tabs instead of waiting for the dinosaurs to catch up. Same goes for the major recording label jackasses...
ETA the first new Metallica song, now over a year old, while sounding St.Anger song-wise, featured as pure an old-school Kirk Hammett solo that I've heard outside a performance of classic material live, since, well, the Black Album tour and LP. And it seems to drive things into a crazy also-old-school rhythm jam before going back into the Post-Modern-'Tallica-type sound.

Don't laugh, coz I've worked for a country radio station for almost the past three years. That song is as familiar to me as Motorman...
You Tube FUCKIN" SUCKS DICKS!!!!! Every single video on this thread that I clicked on, and it was most of them, had been yanked.
